About the studio
The studio focuses on hand-blown glass fish — particularly trout — alongside vases, sculptural forms, and other custom work.
Each piece begins as a gather of molten glass at nearly 2000°F, shaped at the bench through a mix of breath, gravity, and tools that haven't changed much in centuries. Trout are built up color by color: a base tone, fine spots applied while the glass is still hot, then a clear casing that gives the finished piece its depth.
Pieces are made one at a time. No molds. No two alike.
